General Info
*****MCP*****
The Mixer has four different layouts. Very simply named, the different views are:
1. Default
2. Slim Channel
3. Medium Channel
4. Large Channel
While the Fx Window is accessible by all four layouts via the Fx Button, only views Medium and Large have the Fx Rack built into them. With layout 4. Large, the Fx Rack is more of a sidebar layout with the meter underneath the Fx Rack on the right half of the strip. The Fx Rack in this view is accessible at any MCP size. On the other hand, the Fx Rack in the Medium layout is not available until you reach a certain height on the MCP.
*****MASTER*****
This is a very minimal view for the moment. I customized it for myself so...... I do not use much there, I only added the volume fader a few days ago just in case I need it, but I never have. Otherwise, there is a Mono/Stereo, Automation, and Fx buttons - pretty stripped down. I will add other layouts for the master strip in time.
*****TCP*****
Again, something I do not use much so the TCP was given the minimal treatment… things I may need to quickly access on the fly while recording, mute and solo of course in minimal view. Maximized (not much bigger ;-) ) I added an input select, volume, pan, and meter. Again, the TCP is something I want to give some attention to in the future. Adding different views etc and eventually a master track.
EVERYTHING ELSE -
Everything else, midi window, I/O window etc is all pretty minimal - kind of how I like it. Again can be developed over time. I may have missed some graphics, not sure (hence the "beta-ish" comment above) - if it is missing some stuff, please let me know - I'd love to fill it out as needed.
LAPTOP USERS - I do not (yet) have a laptop to test this on - only a 20" on a PC and a 27" on a Mac. I tried to make everything minimize as much as possible and I realize width may be an issue - feel free to pm me, let me know how and if it works out for you.
Thanks to everyone and to the themers for their hard work… oh yes and to the REAPER devs - what a great app!
