This is designed as fool proof way to edit only what you want - a means to eliminate accidental destruction of your precious material.

What it does, is simple: It locks all the items on your non-target tracks and minimizes them. It maximizes the tracks you have selected for editing and makes sure items on those tracks are unlocked and ready for business.

How to use it:

1. select some tracks you'd like to edit

2. Press Y.

3. edit away.

4. select some other tracks to edit.

5. Press Y.

6. edit some more

7. rinse

8. and repeat
