(While the template was initially made for 8 output channels, it is easily expandable to whatever is needed).

The template consists of 10 tracks:

- Track 1 is the drum folder parent (only visible in mixer)

- Track 2-9 are the 8 drum channels inside the folder (only visible in mixer)

- Track 10, last in the folder, is doing the MIDI stuff (only visible in track control panel)

The FX chain of Track 10 contains the following:

- IX/MIDI_Router (for routing MIDI channel 1 to 10)

- Piz midiSwing (http://thepiz.org/dl/?p=vst#pizmidi)

- Shortcircuit (v1.1.2) (http://www.vemberaudio.se/shortcircuit.php)

All audio is routed from Shortcircuit to the 8 outputs (which come together again in the folder parent).

Track 10 is already armed and ready for recording (Monitor Input, Overdub in existing items, Preserve PDC delayed monitoring).

When new MIDI items are created, they are already in drum view (triangles), used notes are named properly and unused ones are not shown.

The drum mapping is in GM.

Samples have to be replaced in Shortcircuit and the recording input of track 10 has to be adjusted.
